Seminar fees may bring in revenue around $2000 but the expenses are often closer to $5000 (between Instructor fees, travel, meals, marketing, transaction fees and dojo preparation). It's our goal to bring gifted instructors like Hiroshi Ikeda Sensei to Portland and make him available to the entire local aikido community, at an affordable cost.
To achieve this goal we provide an opportunity for community member, who appreciate the value of these events, to make donations, above the seminar registration fees, that can help offset those costs making this events possible in the future.
