          
Frank Doran Seminar October 16, 2004

Shihan Frank Doran, 7th dan, began training in aikido in
1959 while in the Marine Corp. He was an early student of Koichi Tohei and
trained at Hombu Dojo in Japan in the early 1960's. He co-founded the
California Aikido Association with Robert Nadeau in 1975.
A number of us from Budo Dojo attended the Frank Doran Seminar
recently. As usual, Doran Sensei offered some fascinating training and a
few surprise techniques. I snapped off a few quick shots between training.
