Beginners Aikido Class

The Beginners Aikido Class is sponsored by the Cedar Hills Recreation Center, part of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) and all classes are held at Budo Dojo, 12690 SW 1st street, in Beaverton. THPRD sponsored classes run in terms or semesters; Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. and runs about 8 weeks (depending on term), 2 classes per week.
Winter Term will be starting soon, on Tuesday, January 15th. Classes are Tuesday & Thursday evenings, from 6:30 - 7:30pm. Call Cedar Hills Recreation Center to register, 503-645-6433. Winter Term class ends March 6th.
Class costs are only $47, paid to
Budo Dojo, plus $8 if you live in district or $14 if you live out of
district, paid to THPRD. So, if you live in district your
total cost would be ($47 + $8) $55 and if you live out of district you
will need to pay an additional out of district fee. You will need to register, in person,
with THPRD (11640 SW Park Way) and pay your $8 or $14 in advance. You
would then pay your $47 to Budo Dojo first night of class.
Beginners Aikido Class is a gentle way to be introduced to aikido as most students will begin their study of aikido at the same time and class content will be focused on basics and fundamentals of aikido. Because the Beginners class is only about half the cost of regular dojo membership this is a very cost effective way to try out aikido and see if it's for you.
