May 2002 Kyu Rank Testing

horizontal rule

On May 29th 2002 we held kyu rank testing for students at the dojo. We spent the first hour and a half training and the last hour testing.

I should mention that Kohei Izumi had an excellent 6th kyu exam 2 weeks earlier and is not pictured here. Unfortunately he had to leave us, returning to Japan, for an undetermined period of time. We'd all like to wish him the best for the duration of his absense and we hope he will hurry home to us as soon as possible.

I would also like to extend a warm congratulations to Bill Townsley for his fine Shodan test a month earlier (February) in Bozeman, Montana in front of Ikeda Sense.
